Xiaotong Xi  

Hello! I am Xiaotong Xi, a lecturer in the School of Foreign Studies at Shandong University of Finance and Economics (Jinan, China). I earned my PhD in Translation and Language Sciences from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona, Spain). My PhD thesis explored the benefits of incorporating pedagogical hand gestures into phonetic training on the learning of L2 sounds. Beyond that, my research interests extend to the acquisition of L2 Spanish pronunciation by Mandarin-speaking learners.
